Allegedly, the husband and the petitioner being mother-in-law assaulted the daughter of the informant namely, Kanchan Devi who was married 7-8 years ago, brutally resulting she died.

Submission at the bar for release of the petitioner is that the petitioner is an old widow lady, the husband is in custody and the petitioner by remaining in custody since 11.7.2012 has sufficiently been penalized at this stage. She is unable to discharge her daily routine without any support.

Considering the period of detention of the petitioner Urmila Devi and her position, now, she is directed to be released on bail on execution of bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Ist Additional Sessions Judge, Bhagalpur in S. T. No. 386 of 2013/T. R. No. 362 of 2013 arising out of Buddhuchak P.S. Case No. 11 of 2012, subject to the conditions that one of the bailors must be a near relative and another having sufficient immovable property within the territorial jurisdiction of the court concerned and the petitioner shall remain present on each and every date during trial and the default on two consecutive dates on her part without any reason shall disentitle the petitioner from privilege of bail.
