P.S. Case No. 35 of 2014, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 7/8/13(2) read with Sections 13(1)(D) of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988.

The petitioners were apprehended red handed while accepting bribe of Rs. 20,000/- for releasing the truck bearing Registration No. BR37A – 2731.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners are in jail since 25.01.2014 and charge sheet has already been submitted.

Learned APP did not dispute the facts.

Considering the facts aforesaid and nature of allegation made against the petitioner, they, namely, Imtiyaz Jhankar and Kundan Kumar are directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Special Judge, Vigilance-II, Patna in connection with Special Case No. 45 of 2014, arising out of Vigilance P.S. Case No. 35 of 2014.
