2 11-02-2013 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.A.P.
for the State.
This petition for anticipatory bail has been filed on behalf
of the petitioner who apprehends her arrest for the offences
alleged under Sections 323, 324, 341, 342, 307, 498 (A)/34 of the
Indian Penal Code and ¾ of the Dowry Prohibition Act.
Allegation is with regard to the demand of dowry and
torture for non-fulfillment of the demand.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the specific
allegation has been made against the husband of the informant and
his brothers and not against this petitioner who is the mother-in-
law of the victim. It is alleged that so far as this petitioner is
concerned, it is only alleged that she along with the husband meet
her whereas informant’s younger brother-in-law is said to have set
