The petitioner is in custody in connection with Sakari P.S. Case No.13 of 2013 registered for the offences punishable under sections 323, 307, 498A/34 of the Indian Penal Code and subsequently section 302 of the of the Indian Penal Code was added to the set of allegations.
The allegation against this petitioner who happens to
be the husband of the deceased is of causing severe burn injuries to his wife along with his family members and which ultimately led to her death.
Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the marriage in the present case has taken place about 14 years back and thus any demand of dowry is unbelievable. He further

submits that the allegation stands falsified by the evidence of a witness, recorded at paragraph 5 of the case diary, namely, Santosh Yadav who has stated that the victim had not held anybody else responsible for the death as also the evidence of the independent witness recorded in paragraph 32 of the case diary, namely, Raj Kumar Kamat who has stated about the conduct of the informant and his family members.
Having heard learned counsel for the parties, let the petitioner, namely, Sanjeet Mandal be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Madhubani in connection with Sakari P.S. Case No.13 of 2013.
