2 17-12-2012 Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned counsel for the State. Petitioner apprehends his arrest in relation to Gandhi Maidan P.S. Case No. 280/12 for the offences under sections 341, 323, 387, 353, 504, 427 and 506/34 of the Indian Penal Code. In the F.I.R. it is alleged that the petitioner had tried to exert undue pressure on the informant to report immediately with regard to Bolero Vehicle bearing No. BR-05P-5671 regarding which Kankerbagh P.S. Case No. 219/2012 was lodged after accident.
From the order of the learned Sessions Court, it appears that the owner of the Bolero being a complainant has complained about illegal gratification demanded by the petitioner

for submission of verification report. It is stated that the prosecution case is in retaliation to it.
Be that as it may, in the facts and circumstances of the case, in the event of his arrest or surrender in the Court below within a period of four weeks from today, let the above named petitioner be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Patna in connection with Gandhi Maidan P.S. Case No. 280/2012, subject to the conditions laid down under Section 438(2) of the Cr. P.C..
