As per office note, in order No.1 dated 22.04.2026, the case number has been inadvertently typed as ‘W.P.(C) No.9730 of 2025’ instead of ‘W.P.(C) No.9730 of 2026’. The same be corrected.

The petitioner has approached this Court with the following

prayer:-

“The petitioner therefore prays that your lordships would be graciously pleased to admit this case, call for records from court below and after hearing the parties allow the the same with cost and issue a writ in the nature of mandamus/ certiorari or any other or further writs direction directing the opp.party no-2 to record the case land in favour of the petitioner in a separate Khata and correct the ROR and Map in accordance with Settlement order of ceiling lease case no81/04 (Annexure-1) and order of RDC (C.Dn.) cuttack passed in R.P. case no-24/19 (Annexure-2 as per Rule -34 © & 35 (proviso) of OSS Rule-1962 with in a specified period for ends of justice or may be pleased to pass any other order as this Hon'ble court deems fit and proper,

And for which act of kindness the petitioner shall remain obliged before this Hon'ble court for ever”.

By order dated 19.01.2021, the Secretary to RDC (Central Division), Cuttack directed the Tahasildar, Betanoti to record the

case land as per orders in the Ceiling Surplus Lease Case and records available with the Tahasil, Betanoti in favour of the petitioner in a separate Khata and to correct the ROR and map within three months from the date of receipt of this order.

Though it is not known as to when exactly the order was received by the Tahasildar, Betanoti yet the order itself was passed more than five years ago, the petitioner has submitted a representation on 02.06.2021 before the Tahasildar, Betanoti for implementation of the order, no action has been taken as yet.

The writ petition is therefore disposed of directing the Tahasildar, Betanoti to abide by the directions of the RDC, Cuttack referred above as early as possible, preferably within six weeks from the date of production of certified copy of this order by the petitioner.
