04. 1. Heard Mr. M.K. Mohanty, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, Mr. D. Mohanty, learned AGA for the opposite party No.1-State and Mr. R.C. Mohanty, along with Mr. K.C. Swain, learned counsels appearing for opposite party Nos. 2 & 3 .

Due to non-issuance of the Admit Cards by opposite party Nos.2 and 3, namely the Directorate of Medical Education & Training, Odisha and the Odisha Nurses & Midwives Examination Board, four students of the petitioner’s Institution were not permitted to appear in the examination for the 2^nd year ANM course, i.e., Paper-V and Paper-VI. Consequently, the present writ petition has been filed.

3. By filing an affidavit on 9^th February, 2026, the opposite party Nos.2 and 3- Directorate of Medical Education & Training,

Odisha as well as the Odisha Nurses & Midwives Examination Board have submitted as follows:-

“1. That, the Petitioner in the present Writ Petition has prayed for a direction to allow 4 nos. of candidates who are left out in accepting their filled in forms and other particulars, and to allow the sit in the examination in respect of 2^nd year ANM course i.e. paper-V & paperVI.

2. That, in course of hearing the Hon'ble Court was pleased to direct to file an affidavit that when the students of the Petitioner Institution can appear in the examination for the aforesaid subject as far as 2^nd year ANM course is concerned.

3. That, it is pertinent to mention here that these 4 students of the Petitioner Institution will be allowed to appear in the next supplementary examination.”

4 . Considering the submission made by the learned counsel

appearing for opposite party Nos.2 and 3, this writ petition stands allowed in terms of above submissions.

5 . Authorities concerned of the opposite parties shall permit the four students of the petitioner’s Institution to appear in the 2^nd year ANM course examination, i.e., Paper-V and Paper-VI and in that regard shall issue the requisite /necessary Admit Cards to those four students.

6 . With the above submissions, the writ petition stands disposed of.
