1. Heard Mr. D.K. Mohapatra, learned counsel appearing for the respondent.
2. The respondent-wife filed C.P. No.929 of 2017 under Section 27 of the Special Marriage Act, 1954, before the learned Judge, Family Court, Bhubaneswar seeking dissolution of her marriage with the appellant-husband, that was solemnized on 26th March, 2006 at Brajarajnagar. After hearing the parties, by judgment dated 17th October, 2022, the learned Judge, Family Court, Bhubaneswar allowed the said C.P. No.929 of 2017, dissolving the marriage between the appellant-husband and respondent-wife that was solemnized on 26th March, 2006.
3. Aggrieved by the said judgment and decree dated 17th October, 2022, husband has preferred this appeal.

4. On the consent of the parties, the present appeal was referred to mediation by order dated 12th August, 2025. However, as per the report submitted by the learned Mediator, the mediation process between the parties became unsuccessful.
5. The appellant, through his learned counsel Mr. Abhilash Nanda, has filed a written memo dated 6th February, 2026 stating that he does not wish to proceed with the present appeal and seeks to withdraw the same.
6. Pursuant to the said withdrawal memo, this appeal stands dismissed as withdrawn.
