Heard learned counsel for the respective parties.

Instant CRLMP is filed by the petitioner for a direction to the opposite parties to register a case and to take necessary action as per law.

Mr. Mohapatra, learned counsel for the petitioner appears through virtual mode and submits that in spite of complaint as per Annexure-1, there is inaction, hence, necessary direction is required to be issued to the IIC of P.S. concerned.

Mr. Mohanty, learned ASC for the State submits a copy of the intimation received from the D.C.P.-in charge Cyber Crime P.S., Cuttack UPD dated 21^st July, 2026 addressed to the Office of the Advocate General, Odisha, Cuttack to claim that the victim has not produced any materials or details about the fraud and therefore, no case has been registered.

In view of the above report received from the P.S concerned, this Court is inclined to direct the petitioner and for that matter, the victim to attend the investigation revealing the details about the cyber fraud in order to facilitate the registration of a case and investigation.

6. Accordingly, it is ordered.

In the result, CRLMP is disposed of. It is directed that in the event the petitioner and the victim appear at the P.S. on 1^st August, 2026 with all the details vis-à-vis cyber fraud, it shall be received by opposite party No.4 and thereafter, to proceed to consider the registration of a case on the complaint and investigation as per and in accordance with law.

8. Issue urgent certified copy as per rules.

A copy of the order be handed over to Mr. Mohanty, learned ASC for the State for onward intimation to opposite party No.4 for compliance.
