No. 15 dated 16.11.2025 (Annexure-1) and take up investigation, alleging that after 2023 the in-charge principal Pranati Mohanty harassed and tortured him, permitted Anupama Mohanty to take political science classes without permission, took Rs.10,000/- per month from his salary, and abused him in foul language; the G.D. entry was made on 16.11.2025 but the FIR was not registered. This CRLMP has been filed with a prayer to issue direction to the Opposite Party Nos. 3 and 4 to register the complaint/FIR vide Badachana P.S. G.D. No. 15 dated 16.11.2025 under Annexure-1 and take up investigation.

Mr. Susanta Kumar Baral, learned counsel for the Petitioner submits that the Petitioner is working as lecturer in Political Science in Badachana Women’s Higher Secondary School, Badachana, district-Jajpur since 11.10.1996. After 2023 one Pranati Mohanty, in-Charge principal took charge of the post of the Principal and created disturbance and on different pleas harassing and torturing the Petitioner in different ways and she

has allowed one Anupama Mohanty to take class in political science without permission of Governing Body as well as the Petitioner, not allowing to perform his duty, she has taken ransom from the Petitioner to pay Anupama Mohanty Rs.10,000/- every month from his salary and also abused in foul language. As a result, he lodged FIR before the I.I.C., Badachana Police Station on 16.11.2025. Badachana P.S. G.D. No. 15 dated 16.11.2025 was registered, but no steps have been taken for registration of the FIR. He further submits that where cognizable offence is made out in the complaint, it is the duty of the police to register a case and carry out the investigation.

After hearing learned counsel for the Petitioner and going through the allegations in the CRLMP, I am not satisfied that it is a fit case where jurisdiction under Article 226 of the Constitution of India should be exercised to direct the police to register the FIR.

The Petitioner is at liberty to avail the alternate remedy available to him under law.

With this observation, the CRLMP is disposed of.
