1. The CRLMP has been filed with the prayer to apprehend the accused and to protect life, liberty and dignity and take affidavit steps to complete the investigation.

Pursuant to order dated 05.02.2026, Ms. Rasmita Jena, Inspector, Cyber Crime and EO PS Cuttack UPD is present in person in Court. She produces the instructions dated 10.02.2026 where the action taken by her to apprehend the accused has been described. It has also been stated therein that prayer has been made in the Court of the learned J.M.F.C.-I, Cuttack, the Court has issued NBW against the accused Romiya Ranjan Ojha and the case is posted to 24.03.2026. She submits that notice under Section 94 of the BNSS has been issued to the various websites

She submits that although the objectionable photos and videos have been deleted, but till date the registration details of the alleged URL have not been provided. She submits that as investigation is continuing, she is hopeful that the accused will be arrested soon. The instruction is taken on record.

Considering the submissions of Ms. Rasmita Jena, Inspector, Cyber Crime and EO PS Cuttack UPD and the instructions produced by her, I am satisfied that no further direction is required to be issued in the CRLMP other than observing that she shall continue her efforts to arrest the accused as expeditiously as possible and complete the investigation in the case.

It is reiterated that she shall take steps to see that the identity of the victim is not reflected in any of the documents in the case diary or instructions which she supplies to the Court.

This above observation, the CRLMP is disposed of. Needless to say, the Petitioner is at liberty to avail the alternative remedy in case she has any further grievance regarding investigation of the case.

The personal appearance of Ms. Rasmita Jena, Inspector, Cyber Crime and EO PS Cuttack UPD is dispensed with.
