Instant petitions have been filed under Section 482 BNSS by the petitioners seeking pre-arrest bail in connection with Cyber Crime & Economic Offence PS, Puri Case No. 18 of 2026 corresponding to G.R. Case No. 674 of 2026 pending in the file of learned S.D.J.M., Puri on the grounds stated.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the accused, namely, Prasanna Prusty from whom a cash of Rs.22,34,000/- was recovered and seized by the police is on bail by the order of this Court in BLAPL No. 5176 of 2026. A common order dated 15^th July, 2026 therein with connected BLAPLs is produced for the Court’s perusal. It is submitted that the petitioners do not have any similar antecedents. Recorded the objection of Mr. Brahma, learned ASC for the State. In fact, it is informed that instruction is received from the I.O. concerned for time to submit the case diary and other police papers. But on merits, Mr. Brahma, learned ASC opposed the bail plea of the petitioners for their involvement in the alleged betting during the last IPL.

From the F.I.R., it is made to reveal that recovery and seizure of cash and other articles have been made and the amount of cash is Rs.22,34,000/- from the co-accused named above, who, as earlier stated is on bail vide BLAPL (supra). Considering the objection and that the petitioners claim to have no other antecedent and one of them, namely, petitioner No.1 in ABLAPL No. 7863 of 2026 is a lady, this Court is inclined to

direct all of them to surrender before the learned court below for being released with suitable conditions even if their bail plea is not entertained.

6. Accordingly, it is ordered.

In the result, the ABLAPLs are disposed of with the direction as aforesaid. It is further directed that in the event, the petitioners surrender before the learned S.D.J.M., Puri in connection with Cyber Crime & Economic Offence PS, Puri Case No. 18 of 2026 corresponding to G.R. Case No. 674 of 2026 within a fortnight from today, they shall be released on bail upon furnishing bail bonds of Rs.30,000/-(rupees thirty thousand) each with one solvent surety for the like amount each with such other conditions imposed as deemed just and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case. It is further directed that release of the petitioners shall be upon verification and absence of similar antecedent against them.
