The Petitioner in this writ petition prays for a direction for disposal of his representation dated 27^th January, 2024 (Annexure-5) pending before the Inspector General of Registration, Odisha, Cuttack for issuance of State deed writer license in his favour.

It is submitted by Mr. Dash, learned counsel being authorized by Mr. Sejpada, learned counsel for the Petitioner that the Petitioner has district level deed writer license issued in his favour. He has made an application for issuance of State deed writer license. The Sub-Registrar, Bhanjanagar, Ganjam vide his letter No.790 dated 6^th November, 2023 recommended the case of the Petitioner for issuance of State deed writer license. Taking into consideration such recommendation, the Additional District Magistrate-cum-District Registrar, Ganjam, Chatrapur vide his letter No.2638 dated 19^th December, 2023 under Annexure-4 recommended the case of the Petitioner to the Inspector General of Registration, Odisha, Cuttack for grant of State deed writer license. p ending for consideration. Finding no other alternative, the Petitioner has submitted a representation at Annexure-5. But, no decision has yet been taken on the same. Hence, this writ petition has been filed.

Mr. Mishra, learned Additional Standing Counsel submits that steps are being taken for a decision on the recommendation of the Additional District Magistrate-cumDistrict Registrar, Ganjam, Chatrapur vide Annexure-4 regarding issuance of State deed writer license in favour of the Petitioner.

Upon hearing learned counsel for the parties and on perusal of the record, it appears that the recommendation of the Additional District Magistrate-cum-District Registrar, Ganjam, Chatrapur is pending before the Inspector General of Registration, Odisha, Cuttack since 19^th December, 2023.

Hence, this Court without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case of the Petitioner, disposes of the writ petition with a direction that the Inspector General of Registration, Odisha, Cuttack shall take a decision on the recommendation made by the Additional District Magistrate-cum-District Registrar, Ganjam, Chatrapur under Annexure-4 as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of four months from the date of production of certified copy of this order.
