01. 1. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for
the State.
2. The petitioner is seeking pre-arrest bail in connection with G.R.
Case No.405 of 2023 pending in the Court of learned JMFC,
Basudevpur, arising out of Basudevpur P.S. Case No.244 for alleged
commission of offence punishable under Section 379/411/429 of IPC
read with Section11(A) of Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act.
3. Considering the nature of allegations and the submissions made
by the learned counsel for the petitioner, it is directed that on
surrendering within three weeks hence and moving for bail, the petitioner
shall be released on bail by the learned Court in seisin over the matter on
such terms as deemed just and proper subject to verification of criminal
antecedent of similar nature.
4. If it comes to the fore that the petitioner has any such criminal
antecedent, this order shall stand recalled.
