ORDER 11.09.2023 Order No. 07. 1. Heard learned counsel for the Petitioner and learned counsel for the State. 2. The Petitioner is an accused in connection with Special T.R. Case No.02 of 2022 pending on the file of learned Additional Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge, Umerkote in the District of Nabarangpur arising out of Umerkote P.S. Case No.0004 of 2022 for commission of the alleged offence under Sections 20(b)(ii)(C) of the NDPS Act for possessing contraband (ganja) to the tune of 130 kgs. 3. Being aggrieved by the rejection of his application for bail U/s. 439 Cr.P.C by the learned Additional District & Sessions Judge, Umerkote by order dated 26.07.2022 in the aforementioned case, the present bail application has been filed. 4. It is submitted by the learned counsel for the Petitioner that the co-accused Surajit Bairagi has since been released on bail by the learned Court in seisin by order dated 26.07.2022 in the case at hand.
