2 19.04.2021 Heard Mr. Pradhan, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. Patnaik, learned Addl. Standing Counsel through video conferencing mode.
On oral prayer, Mr. Pradhan is permitted to implead the Managing Director, Odisha State Civil Supply Corporation Limited, C/2, Nayapalli, Bhubaneswar-12 as opposite party no.5. Registry is directed to make necessary consequential correction in the cause title.
According to Mr. Pradhan, the petitioner is aggrieved by nonacceptance of paddy by the Secretary, Service Co-operative Society, Narayanpur though token was issued in his favour under Annexure-1. During course of hearing, Mr. Pradhan submits that liberty may be granted to the petitioner to approach the Managing Director, Odisha State Civil Supply Corporation Limited, Bhubaneswar-12 (opposite party no.5 for redressal of his grievances.
Considering the submissions made and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court grants liberty to the petitioner to file a grievance petition before the Managing Director, Odisha State Civil Supply Corporation Limited, Bhubaneswar-12 (opposite party no.5) within a period of two weeks along with a copy of this order through registered post. In the event, such a grievance petition is filed, the said opposite party is directed to take a decision on the same in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of the copy of the grievance petition and communicate the result of such exercise to the petitioner.
