CRLMP No.146 of 2021
Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. Patnaik, learned Addl. Standing Counsel.
On instruction Mr. Patnaik submits that in connection with Bhadrak Rural P.S. Case No.321 dated 02.06.2020, upon completion of investigation, Final Report No.31 dated 30.01.2021 has been submitted before the Jurisdictional Court.
In such background, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that liberty may be granted to the petitioner to file protest petition before the Jurisdictional Court.
Considering such submissions and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court grants liberty to the petitioner to file a protest petition before the Jurisdictional Court. In the event, such petition is filed before the Jurisdictional Magistrate, the said court is directed to proceed with the same in accordance with law.
The CRLMP is accordingly disposed of.
Parties may utilize the soft copy of this order available in the High Court’s Website or print out thereof at par with certified copy in the manner prescribed vide Court’s Notice No.4587 dated 25.03.2020 read with Notice No.4798 dated 15.04.2021.
