The Petitioners, in this writ petition, seek for a direction to the Opposite Party No.3-Arbitrator-Cum-Collector, Sambalpur to dispose of their applications filed under Section 3G(5) of the National Highway Act, 1956 under Annexure-1 series within a stipulated time.

Considering the limited prayer of the Petitioners, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the claim of the Petitioners, the Opposite Party No.3-Arbitrator-Cum-Collector,

Sambalpur is directed to dispose of the aforesaid applications of the Petitioners under Annexure-1 series by passing a reasoned and speaking order, after affording reasonable opportunity of hearing to the parties concerned, within a period of three months from the date of production/ receipt of the certified copy of this order along with a copy of the brief.

Learned counsel for the Petitioners submits that the Petitioners undertake to submit a certified copy of this order along with a copy of the brief before the Opposite Party No.3Arbitrator-Cum-Collector, Sambalpur within a period of twenty-one working days hence.

The writ petition is disposed of, accordingly.
