Petitioner, in this writ petition, claiming to be a beneficiary under Odisha Bhoodan and Gramdan Act, 1970 (for short, ‘the Act’) prays for a direction to issue ROR in her name in respect of land bearing Plot Nos.571, 578, 889, 846 and 760 under Khata No.325 in MouzaUttareswar under Remuna Tahasil in the district of Balasore (for short, ‘the case land’).

Mr. Mishra, learned Additional Standing Counsel for the State submits that let the petitioner file an application before the Tahasildar, Soro (Opposite Party No.3) who will consider her case in accordance with law.

In view of the above, it is directed that in the event the petitioner makes an application to the Tahasildar, Soro (Opposite Party No.3) for redressal of her grievance with regard to settlement of the case land under the provisions of the Act, within a period of two weeks hence, the Tahasildar, Soro shall do well to consider and dispose of the same in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of four months from the date of filing of such application along with an authenticated copy of this order downloaded from the website of the Orissa High Court.

5.1 As the restrictions due to the COVID-19 situation are continuing, learned counsel for the parties may utilize a soft copy of this order available in the High Court’s website or print out thereof at par with certified copy in the manner prescribed, vide Court’s Notice No.4587, dated 25^th March, 2020.
