This matter is taken up through Video Conferencing because of COVID-19 Pandemic.

In the aforesaid writ petition, the petitioner has sought for direction to the opposite parties to give appointment to the petitioner as Anganwadi worker in respect of newly opened Bagaudar-2 Anganwadi Centre, as she has secured highest position in the interview conducted on the basis of advertisement published in the month of February,2017 by the C.D.P.O, Belpada

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that ventilating her grievance, the petitioner has filed a representation to opposite party no.4 under Anenxure-9 which is stated to be pending.

Learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that if a direction would be issued to opposite party no.4 to consider the representation under Annexure-9 and dispose of the same on its own merit and in accordance with law within a stipulated time, then the grievance of the petitioner shall be redressed.

Mr. S.K. Samal, learned Additional Government Advocate for the State, however has no serious objection to that course of action.

Considering the limited nature of grievance and without delving into the merits of the case, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to opposite party no.4 to

consider the representation filed by the petitioner under Annexure-9 and dispose of the same in accordance with law within a period of two months from the date of receipt of authenticated copy of this order and the decision taken thereof shall be communicated to the petitioner within the aforesaid period.

The opposite party no.4 shall act on production of authenticated copy of the order along with copy of the writ petition.

As restrictions are continuing due to COVID-10 Pandemic, learned counsel for the parties may utilize the soft copy of this order available in the High Court’s official website or print out thereof at par with certified copies in the manner prescribed, vide Court’s notice no.4587 dated 25.03.2020.
