Heard Mr.K.K.Swain, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.Sonak Mishra, learned Standing Counsel for School & Mass Education Department.

In the aforesaid writ petition, the petitioner has sought for a direction to the opposite parties to dispose of the representation dated 19.11.2020 under Annexures-6 relating to release of salary and representation dated 19.10.2020 under Annexure-7 relating to permission for B.Ed training as per Government Resolution No.587 dated 10.01.2011.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that ventilating his grievance, the petitioner has filed comprehensive representations before the District Education Officer, Ganjam, Berhampur for release of salary and before Collector-cum-Chief Executive Officer, Ganjam, Chhatrapur for permission for availing CT/B.Ed training under Annexue-7 which are stated to be pending.

Learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that if a direction would be issued to the District Education Officer, Ganjam, Berhampur, opposite party No.5 and Collector-cum-Chief Executive Officer, Ganjam, Chhatrapur opposite party no.4 to consider the representations under Annexure-6 and 7 and dispose of the same on its own merit in accordance with law within

a stipulated time, then the grievance of the petitioner shall be redressed.

Mr.Sonak Mishra, learned Standing Counsel for School & Mass Education Department has no serious objection to that course of action.

Considering the limited nature of grievance of the petitioner and without delving into the merits of the matter, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction that the District Education Officer, Ganjam, Berhampur, opposite party No.5 and Collector-cum-Chief Executive Officer, Ganjam, Chhatrapur opposite party no.4 shall do well to consider the representations of the petitioner under Annexure-6 & 7 on its own merit in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of eight weeks on production of certified/authenticated copy of this order along with a copy of the writ petition and representation.

The opposite party Nos.4 & 5 shall act on production of certified/authenticated copy of this order along with a copy of the writ petition and representation. As restrictions are continuing for COVID-19, learned counsel for the parties may utilize the soft copy of this order available in the High Court’s Website or print out thereof at par with certified copies in the matter prescribed, vide Court’s Notice No.4587, dated 25.03.2020.
