This matter is taken up through Video Conferencing because of COVID-19 Pandemic.
Heard Mr.Siba Prasad Patra, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. Sikdar, learned counsel for the Board of Secondary Education.
In the aforesaid writ petition, the petitioner has sought for direction to the opposite party to supply the copy of revised marks after checking/addition of marks of the subjects, i.e., MTH, SSC, GSC, FL & SL of the petitioner, photo copy of the answer scripts both subjective and objective and to pay an exemplary cost.
Controverting the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, a counter affidavit has filed by the opposite party wherein it is stated that as per clause-4 of the Notification no.793 dated 04.08.2020, the process of availing the answer books would continue for three months. Accordingly, the answer books in both subjective and objective papers, the period of processing is to complete/expire on 17.11.2020. As such, the writ petition has become premature.

Mr. Sikdar, learned counsel for the Board of Secondary Education has filed a notification of the Board of Secondary Education, Orissa, Cuttack dated 07.12.2020, in shape of a Memo and submits that the grievance of the petitioner would be redressed if the scanned images of subjective and objective answer books will be down loaded

from the website by logging in to his roll number.
After hearing the learned counsel for the parties and on perusal of the records, the learned counsel for the petitioner is directed to go through the instruction imparted in the notification referred to above and instruct the petitioner to act accordingly.
With the above observation, the writ petition is disposed of.
As restrictions are continuing due to COVID-10 Pandemic, learned counsel for the parties may utilize the soft copy of this order available in the High Court’s official website or print out thereof at par with certified copies in the manner prescribed, vide Court’s notice no.4587 dated 25.03.2020.
