Heard Ms. Suchismita Sarangi, learned counsel appearing on behalf of Mr. A.K. Mohapatra, learned counsel for the petitioner, and Mr. S. Nayak, learned Addl. Standing Counsel appearing for the State.
The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking to quash resolution of 2012-2013 Gram Sabha of Pratap Ram Chandrapur G.P. of Puri Sadar Block under Puri district and inquiry report dated 20.06.2013 for the same Gram Sabha 2012-2013 vide Annexure-7.
Though this writ petition was entertained by issuing notice on 25.11.2013, but till date no interim has been passed by this Court. As such, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner states that she has no instructions at the moment, though in the meantime seven years have already passed.
In the above view of the matter, the writ petition stands disposed of granting liberty to the petitioner to approach the appropriate forum if any cause of action still survives.
As COVID-19 pandemic situation is continuing, learned counsel for the parties may utilize the soft copy of this order available in the High Court’s official website or print out thereof at par with certified copies in the manner prescribed vide Court’s Notice No.4587 dated 25.03.2020.
