Heard Mr. L. Mishra, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. Mohapatra, learned Addl. Standing Counsel through video conferencing mode.
According to Mr. Mishra, the petitioner is aggrieved by the tardy manner in which investigation is going on in connection with Aul P.S. Case No. 252 dated 18.11.2020. He further submits that though highlighting all her grievances, the petitioner has filed a grievance petition dated 15.01.2021 under Annexure-3 before the Superintendent of Police, Kendrapara (opposite party no.3) through Registered Post, however, till date nothing has been done in the matter.
Considering such submissions and without expressing any opinion either way, this Court directs the Superintendent of Police, Kendrapara (opposite party no.3) to proceed with the above noted grievance petition under Annexure-3 in tune with Sub-Section 3 of Section 154 of the Cr.P.C. keeping in mind the mandate of the statute that every investigation is required to be completed without unnecessary delay.
The CRLMP is accordingly disposed of.
