The petitioner has filed this contempt petition alleging non-compliance of the order dated 23.11.2020 passed by this Court in CRLMP No.1369 of 2020 by which direction was given to the opposite party to take follow up action for registration of FIR in accordance with law in view of law laid down by the apex Court in Lalita Kumari-v. State of U.P ., AIR 2014 SC 187.
As it appears, the opposite party has not registered the written report of the petitioner as FIR. Against nonregistration of FIR, remedy lies to the petitioner to approach the appropriate forum by lodging complaint petition.
In that view of the matter, this Court does not find any violation of order dated 23.11.2020 passed by this Court in CRLMP No.1369 of 2020. Accordingly, the contempt petition is hereby dropped.
