This is the second journey of the petitioners, who arein custody in connection with STF, BhubaneswarP.S. Case No.10 of 2014corresponding to Special Case No.02 of 2015 (NDPS Act)pending in the court of the learned Additional District Judgecum-Special Judge, Boudhrunning for the alleged commission of offence under sections 20(b)(ii)(c) of the N.D.P.S. Acthave filed this application under section 439, Cr.P.C. for their release on bail.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned counsel for the State.

Considering the submission and the nature of accusation as also the materials available concerning the role of this petitioner including the quantity of ganja seized, while being not inclined to re-consider the prayer for grant of bail to the Petitioners, this application is disposed of with the observation that the trial court would do well to take all the effective steps for early conclusion of the trial in accordance with law.

The BLAPL is accordingly dismissed.

As the restrictions due to the COVID-19 situation are continuing, learned counsel for the parties may utilize a soft copy of this order available in the High Court’s website or print out thereof at par with certified copy in the manner prescribed, vide Court’s Notice No.4587 dated 25^th March, 2020.
