- 1.3.2021 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State.
The petitioner apprehending his arrest in Rasgovindpur P.S. Case No.237 of 2020 corresponding to C.T. Case No.2099 of 2020 pending in the court of S.D.J.M., Baripada registered for alleged commission of offence punishable under Sections 379/34 IPC has filed this petition for his release on pre-arrest bail.
It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the co-accused has already been released on bail and the charge sheet has been filed in this case.
On consideration of the facts and the submissions made, especially the nature and character of allegation against the petitioner, circumstance in which he has been indicted, punishment provided on conviction of the offence alleged, released of the coaccused on bail, completion of investigation coupled with the fact that no material to show that the petitioner shall abscond and/or tamper with the prosecution evidence, if enlarged on pre-arrest bail, it is directed
