WPCRL No.113 of 2020
Mr. R.N. Behera, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. A.K. Nanda, learned Additional Government Advocate for the State are present through Video Conferencing.
Mr. A.K. Nanda, learned Additional Government Advocate for the State submits that in the meantime, the victim girl has been rescued and the accused has been arrested. A case under Section 363/ 366/ 376(3)/ 376(2)(n)/ 34 of the I.P.C. read with Section 6 of the POCSO Act has been initiated against the accused. The victim girl has been produced before the jurisdictional magistrate and her statement has been recorded under Section 164 of the Cr.P.C. The victim girl has been left in the safe custody of her mother.
In that view of the matter, this WPCRL has become infructuous. Copies of the documents sent by the Additional Government Advocate shall form a part of the record. The WPCRL is disposed of as infructuous.
As restrictions are continuing due to COVID-19 pandemic, learned counsel for the parties may utilize the soft copy of this order available in the High Court’s official website or print out thereof at par with certified
