Heard Mr. B.Dash, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. S. Mishra, learned Additional Standing Counsel for the State-opposite party Nos. 1 to 3.

Petitioner, in this writ petition, claiming to be a beneficiary under Odisha Bhoodan and Gramdan Act, 1970 (for short, ‘the Act’) prays for a direction to issue ROR in his name in respect of land bearing Plot No.37 area Ac.0.080 decimals, Plot No.48/61, area of Ac.0.030 decimals, Plot No.13, area of Ac.0.010 decimals and Plot No.14, area Ac.0.010 decimals under Khata No.59 in Mouza-Alupur under Remuna Tahasil in the district of Balasore (for short, ‘the case land’).

Mr. Mishra, learned Additional Standing Counsel for the State submits that let the petitioner file an application before the Tahasildar, Remuna (OP No.3) who will consider his case in accordance with law.

In view of the above, it is directed that in the event petitioner makes an application to the Tahasildar, Remuna (OP No.3) for redressal of his grievance with regard to settlement of the case land under the provisions of the Act, within a period of two weeks hence, the Tahasildar, Remuna shall do well to consider and dispose of the same in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of four months from

the date of filing of such application along with an authenticated copy of this order downloaded from the website of the Orissa High Court.

5.1 Authenticated copy of this order downloaded from the website of this Court shall be treated at par with certified copy in the manner prescribed in this Court’s Notice No.4587 dated 25.03.2020.
