12.09.2020 The matter is in the Micro Level E-Lok Lok Adalat and is taken up through Video conferencing.
Learned counsel for the appellant, Officers of the Insurance Company and the learned counsel for the respondents are present.
It is agreed by the parties, the awarded amount of Rs.6,23,238/- (rupees six lakhs twenty three thousand and two hundred thirty eight) is modified and reduced to a consolidated amount of Rs.5,00,000/- (Rupees five lakh). The Stamp Reporter has pointed out that receipt showing deposit of awarded amount before the Commissioner not filed. If already not deposited, on being deposited, the Commissioner for Employees’ Compensation –cumDivisional Labour Commissioner, Cuttack shall disburse the modified compensation amount of Rs.5,00,000/- to the applicants.
As the settlement is arrived at before the Lok Adalat, no court fee shall be levied from the claimants.
The FAO is accordingly disposed of.
