Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Addl. Sanding Counsel.
In view of extra-ordinary situation arose out of COVID-19 Lockdown, the matter is taken up through video conferencing.
Perused the record.
It is stated by learned counsel for the petitioner that Charge-sheet has already been filed in this case. The injuries grevious in nature is nothing but a fracture. The petitioner is in custody since 10.11.2018.
Considering the submissions, natures of allegation and period of detention, I am inclined to allow the petitioner on bail.
Hence, it is ordered that the petitioner - Dillip Patra be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/-(Rupees twenty-five thousand) with one surety for the like amount to the satisfaction of learned court in sesin over the matter in the above noted case, subject to such terms and conditions as deemed just and proper.
The BLAPL is accordingly disposed of.
