Mr. A. Das, learned Addl. Government Advocate states that since the petitioner, in this case, has been implicated in an offence under S.C. & S.T. (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, besides other offences of the Indian Penal Code, this application for anticipatory bail is not maintainable, in view of Section 18 of the S.C. & S.T. (Prevention of Atrocities) Act.
Accordingly, the ABLAPL stands dismissed.
