Considering that the Tahasildar has the power for settlement of the dispute by resorting to the provision under Sections 7(2) and 8-A of the O.P.L.E. Act, this Court directs the Tahasildar, Berhampur-opposite party no.4 to look into the request of the petitioner vide Annexure-5 series and take a decision thereon following the provision under the O.P.L.E Act within a period of four months from the date of communication of a certified copy of this order by the petitioner.
The writ petition stands disposed of with the observation and direction made hereinabove.
