21.06.2019 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State.

This is an application under section 439 Cr.P.C. in connection with G.R. Case No.998 of 2019 arising out of Bantala P.S. Case No.90 of 2019 pending in the Court of learned S.D.J.M., Angul for offences punishable under sections 341/294/323/307/354-B/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

The petitioner moved an application for bail before the learned Special Judge (Vigilance), Angul which was rejected on 31.05.2019. Considering the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner is in judicial custody since 20.05.2019, investigation has made substantial progress, after going through the injury report of the injured Sufala Naik who has sustained simple injury and injured Sapana Naik who has sustained dislocation of tooth and taking into account the previous dispute between the parties and after hearing the learned counsel for the State, I am inclined to release the petitioner on bail.

Let the petitioner be released on bail in the aforesaid case on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand) with two solvent sureties each for the like amount to the satisfaction of the learned Court in seisin over the matter with further terms and conditions as the learned Court may deem just and proper.

The BLAPL is accordingly disposed of.
