Heard Mrs. Kabita Patra, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. Panda, learned Additional Government Advocate.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is the owner of the land. She has filed an application before the Tahasildar, Nayagarh for mutation of her land. Due to bifurcation of the Tahasil jurisdiction, the application was transferred to the newly framed Tahasil office at Nuagaon. He submits that till date the said mutation case has not been disposed of by the Tahasildar, Nuagaon.
No useful purpose would be served by keeping the matter pending. In view of the limited nature of grievance, this writ petition is disposed of with an observation that if the petitioner files a fresh mutation case before the Tahasildar, Nuagaon, opposite party no.4 within a period of fifteen days from today, the latter shall do well to dispose of the same on merit within a period of three months thereafter.
