This is an application under Section 439 Cr.P.C. for grant of bail to the petitioner in connection with Nalco Township P.S. Case No.56 of 2018 corresponding to G.R. Case No.895 of 2018 pending in the Court of learned S.D.J.M., Angul for offences punishable under sections 493/417/376(2)(n)/506 of the Indian Penal Code.
The petitioner moved an application for bail before the learned Sessions Judge, Angul which was rejected on 21.06.2018.
Considering the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner is in custody since 28.05.2018 and in the meantime, the investigation has made substantial progress and after going through the 164 Cr.P.C. of the victim who is aged about 20 years and her medical examination report produced by the learned counsel for the State, I am inclined to release the petitioner on bail.
Let the petitioner be released on bail in the aforesaid case on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/(Rupees twenty thousand) with two solvent sureties each for the like amount to the satisfaction of the learned Court in seisin over the matter with further terms and conditions as the learned Court may deem just and proper with further condition that he shall

appear before the learned trial Court on each date of posting of the case for trial and he shall not try to tamper with the evidence and violation of any terms and conditions shall entail cancellation of bail.
The BLAPL is accordingly disposed of.
