Advocate.
The petitioner is apprehending arrest for the alleged commission of offence un
der Section 392 of the IPC in C.T. Case No.1304/2016 of the court of learned SDJM, Bargarh, a
rising out of Bargarh P.S. Case No.431/2016.
Though the petitioner is not named in the FIR, the statement of witness-Nava C
howhan is clearly implicated the petitioner in committing commission of robbery of a mobile ph
one and Rs.25,000/- from the person of the informant. Keeping in view the gravity of the offen
ce and length of punishment prescribed for the offence alleged, this Court is not inclined to
grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
Hence, the ABLAPL is rejected.
Interim order dated 21.11.2016, which was extended from time to time, stands v
acated.
