 The petitioner, who belongs to KULI caste, has filed this writ petition for is
suance of Caste Certificate in his favour.

 It is alleged that the application for issuance of Caste Certificate is not be
ing entertained by the Tahasildar, Kishore Nagar (Opposite Party No.4.). In this regard, this
Court has disposed of some writ petitions holding the caste KULI and KULIS as synonymous. The
matter is now pending in the Honble Apex Court.

 In view of such facts, the petitioners application for issuance of Caste Certi
ficate be accepted by the Tahasildar, Kishore Nagar and learned Tahasildar should exercise his
 jurisdiction either to grant or to reject such application, after which the cause of action s
hall arise to the petitioner to move before the appropriate forum, on the basis of the decisio
n of this Court in Saroj Kumar Mehers Case.

 Taking into consideration all the aforesaid facts, the writ petition is dispos
ed of directing the petitioner to make an application in proper form before the Tahasildar, Ki
shore Nagar (Opposite Party No.4.) in accordance with the rule within fifteen days from today.

 If such an application is filed by the petitioner, the same shall be disposed
of on merit in accordance with law within two months from the date of its filing.

 If any application is filed before the Principal, Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya,
Angul (Opposite Party No.5) to produce the Caste Certificate subsequently the same be accepted
 and the petitioner be provisionally admitted to the School on the basis of his merit list, co
nsidering him as a person belonging to Schedule Tribe.

 The writ petition is accordingly disposed of.

 Urgent certified copy of this order be granted as per rules.
