Petitioner in the writ petition has challenged the order dated 3.3.2016 passed
by opposite party No.1-Addl. District Magistrate, Balasore in O.L.R. Revision No. 8 of 2016.
It is contended by the petitioner that the present opposite party Nos. 4 and 5
filed O.L.R. Case No. 1 of 2012 before the opposite party No.3-Tahasildar, Remuna. They claim
ed that they are bhag tenant under one Pradyumna Bardhan the father of the present petitioner.
After him they are continuing as such under the petitioner. In the said case petitioner appea
red and filed his show cause. After hearing learned counsel for the parties the opposite party
No.3 by order dated 19.8.2015 rejected the claim made by opposite party Nos. 4 and 5 in the a
foresaid O.L.R. case. Challenging the said order opposite party No.4 filed O.L.R. Appeal No. 1
02 of 2015 before opposite party No.2-Sub-Collector, Balasore. The appellate authority by inte
rim order dated 25.2.2016 directing the parties to maintain status quo of the case land till d
isposal of the appeal and also directed the respondents not to sale the case land till disposa
l of the case.
