This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner alleging that the application at t
he instance of the Raiyat for conversion of the agricultural land to non-agricultural under Se
ction 8(A) of the OLR Act as appearing at Annexure-4 to this petition, is not being received b
y the competent authority.
Considering the submissions made by the respective parties, this Court disposes of thi
s petition permitting the petitioner to file the said application before the Tahasildar, Bhuba
neswar-opposite party No.2 within a period of ten days hence and in such event, the Tahasildar
, Bhubaneswar shall do well in disposing the same by passing an appropriate order in accordanc
e with law after affording opportunity of hearing to all the parties concerned.
Since the order is passed at the admission stage, petitioner is directed to serve cert
ified copy of this order along with a copy of this petition before the opposite party No.2 wit
hin a period of ten days from today for his/her proceeding in the matter.
Issue urgent certified copy as per rules.
