While issuing notice on 1.9.2015, a Bench of this Court passed an interim orde
r to the effect that further proceeding in Execution Proceeding No.36 of 2011 pending in the c
ourt of learned Judge, Family Court, Berhampur shall remain stayed subject to payment of cost
of Rs.63,000/- to the wife within a period of two weeks. The matter was listed on 23.6.2016. M
r. Prusty, learned counsel for the petitioner took three days time to comply with the order da
ted 1.9.2015. On 1.7.2016 Mr. Prustry handed over a demand draft of Rs.63,000/- to Mr. Sahoo,
learned counsel for the opposite party, in the Court. This Court directed that no coercive act
ion shall be taken against the petitioner till the next date. Thereafter, the matter was liste
d on 5.10.2016. On the request of the learned counsel for the petitioner, the matter was adjou
rned. On 31.10.2016, lawyers abstained from Court work due to resolution passed by the High Co
urt Bar Association. The matter was adjourned today.
