The petitioners are stated to have filed an application before the Additional
District Magistrate-cum-Registering Authority, Puri (Opposite Party No.1) alleging mismanageme
nt in the Non-Government Organization (NGO) named as Gouri Shankar Yuba Parishad. Though notic
e was issued to inquiry by Opposite Party No.1, but the said inquiry is not at all proceeding.
In this regard, the petitioners are stated to have filed representation before Opposite Party
No.1, vide Annexure-2.
Taking into consideration the limited grievance of the petitioners and without
going into the merit of the case, this writ petition is disposed of directing the Additional
District Magistrate -cum- Registering Authority, Puri (Opposite Party No.1) to conclude the in
quiry initiated at the behest of the petitioners, as expeditiously as possible, preferably wit
hin four months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order.
It is made clear that, all the parties concerned shall be given proper opportu
nity of being heard. If necessary, further time may be sought for from this Court, if the inqu
iry is not concluded by the prescribed time.
The writ petition is accordingly disposed of.
Urgent certified copy of this order be granted as per rules.
