 The petitioners Sanghamitra Pattnaik and Pinaki Das have filed this revision challenging
the quantum of maintenance as awarded by the learned J.M.F.C., Banpur in Criminal Misc. Case N
o. 29 of 2005 vide judgment and order dated 31.01.2007. Learned counsel for the petitioners c
ontended that in the meantime the petitioners filed an application under section 127 Cr.P.C. f
or enhancement of the maintenance amount and accordingly, vide judgment and order dated 6.10.2
012 in Criminal Petition No. 38 of 2012, the amount has been enhanced and the opp.party has be
en directed to pay maintenance of Rs. 3,500/- per month to each of the petitioners from the da
te of filing of the application.

 It is the contention of the learned counsel for the petitioners that such amount is also
insufficient at present for the maintenance of the petitioners. The petitioners are at liberty
 to file another application under section 127 Cr.P.C. before the appropriate Court for enhanc
ement of the amount which can be duly considered by the competent Court in accordance with law

 Learned counsel for the petitioners further contended that the opp.party has preferred a

revision application bearing RPFAM No. 125 of 2016 in which the petitioners have received noti
ce. The petitioners are at liberty to appear in the said case and contest the same. As the qu
antum of maintenance as per the impugned order has already been enhanced under section 127 Cr.
P.C. application filed by the petitioners, this revision petition is disposed of.
