28.09.2016 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State.
The petitioner is an accused in G.R. Case No.842 of 2016 on the file of learned S.D.J.M.
, Panposh at Rourkela registered under Sections 354/354-A/354-B/506, I.P.C. and Section 3 (i)(
xi) of the S.C. and S.T. (P.A.) Act.
It has been alleged that the petitioner was working as Security Officer in-charge of Nat
ional Institute of Technology, Rourkela he demanded illegal sexual favour from other female se
curity personnel working under his control.
It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that he is in custody since 12.06.2016 and i
n the meantime, final charge-sheet has already been submitted in the case. As regards recordin
g of video clippings of some incidents, it is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitio
ner that those were made in the mobile phone of the informant to make out a case against the p
resent petitioner.
It is submitted on behalf of the State that those have been submitted before the trial c
ourt.
Learned counsel on behalf of the State submits that the petitioner is also an accused in
similar cases. It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that those are similar complaints
made by the different persons.
Considering the submissions and the circumstances, it is directed that let the petitione
r be released on bail by furnishing bond of Rs.20,000/-(rupees twenty thousand) with two suret
ies each for the like amount to the satisfaction of the learned S.D.J.M., Panposh at Rourkela
in G.R. Case No.842 of 2016 with the conditions that:-
I. The petitioner shall not involve himself in any act of the alleged type;
II. he shall not default in personal attendance of the court during trial on each date; an

III. he shall not leave the jurisdiction of State of Odisha without prior permission of the
trial court.
The Bail Application is accordingly disposed of.
