Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Addl. Government Advocate.
This is an application for modification of order dated 23.11.2016 passed in ABLAPL No.
9749 of 2016, wherein liberty was given to the petitioner to surrender and move for bail withi
n twenty-one working days before the learned S.D.J.M., Bhubaneswar. Learned counsel for the pe
titioner submits that due to lawyers strike, the petitioner could not surrender during the tim
e stipulated. Therefore, he prays for extension of time.
In view of the aforesaid consideration, the petitioner is directed to surrender and mov
e for bail before the learned S.D.J.M., Bhubaneswar in the aforesaid case within fifteen worki
ng days hence. The order dated 23.11.2016 is modified to this extent. Other terms and conditio
ns of the order dated 23.11.2016 shall remain unaltered.
The Misc. Case is accordingly disposed of.
Urgent certified copy of this order be granted on proper application.
