The petitioner is apprehending arrest for the alleged commission of offences under Sec
tions 370 and 374/34 of the I.P.C. read with Sections 16 and 17 of the Bonded Labour System Ab
olition Act and Sections 25 and 26 of the Inter-State Migrant Workmanship and Employment Act i
n G.R. Case No.219 of 2014 of the court of J.M.F.C., Laxmipur, arising out of Bandhugaon P.S.
Case No.60 of 2014.
It appears from the records that the main allegation is against Panchanan Mohapatra, w
ho is the Contractor of Balugaon. The present petitioner is no way connected with the commissi
on of the crime. It is also made out from the records that the petitioner is a permanent resid
ent of Village-Garidi, P.S. Bandhugaon, Dist. Koraput and there is no chance of his fleeing fr
om justice.
Keeping in view the aforesaid consideration and the facts of the case, the application
for anticipatory bail is allowed. It is directed that on the event of arrest, the petitioner
shall be released on bail on such terms and conditions as deemed just and proper by the Arrest
ing Officer.
The ABLAPL is accordingly disposed of.
