The petitioner has approached this Court for issuance of direction upon the opposite pa
rties to issue work order in his favour in pursuance to the selection list vide Annexure-3.
The grievance of the petitioner in this case is that as per the selection list prepared
under Annexure-3, the petitioner has found to be eligible for getting benefit under Indira Aw
as Yojana but till date the actual benefit has not been extended while the other juniors below
in the list are getting the said benefit.
Learned counsel for the petitioner has further submitted that to that effect he has mad
e representation on 24.06.2015 before the opposite party no.1-Collector, Cuttack but however t
o no effect as yet.
Learned counsel for the opposite party-State has submitted that the grievance of the pe
titioner shall be looked into by the opposite party no.1-Collector, Cuttack.
In view of such submission, the Collector, Cuttack is directed to take decision on pend
ing representation dated 24.06.2015 (Annexure- 4) to the writ petition within stipulated perio
d preferably within period of six weeks from the date of receipt of the copy of this order.
The petitioner is directed to submit the representation along with copy of the writ pet
ition before him within two weeks from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
It goes without saying that while extending benefit under the scheme of Indira Awas Yoj
ana, same be provided according to the seniority as maintained in Annexure-3.
Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of.
