This petition has been filed for quashing the order dated 23.7.2013 passed by
the A.S.O., Major Settlement, Cuttack in Objection Case No.4093 of 2013 under Annexure-4.
Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State.
In course of hearing, Mr.Palatasingh, learned counsel for the petitioner submi
ts that final R.O.R. has been published. He submits that liberty may be granted to the petitio
ner to file revision before the Commissioner, Land Records and Settlement, Bhubaneswar. He fur
ther submits that a direction may be issued to the Commissioner, Land Records and Settlement,
Bhubaneswar to dispose of the revision on merit.
Considering the innocuous prayer, the petition is disposed of directing the pe
titioner to file an appropriate application for correction of record of right before the Commi
ssioner, Land Records and Settlement, Bhubaneswar within fifteen days from today. If the appli
cation is filed, the Commissioner, Land Records and Settlement, Bhubaneswar shall do well to d
ispose of the same on merit.
