10.12.2015 Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Additional Standing Counsel.
Petitioners are implicated in offence punishable under Sections 307/149, I.P.C. and
other allied offences.
Investigation in the case is stated to have progressed substantially.
Victim Sanjay Prusty is stated to have sustained three simple injuries. The co-accu
sed person, who mounted the assault on the victim, is stated to have been released on bail in
the meantime.
Considered the materials placed by learned counsels for the parties.
Taking into consideration the facts and submission, factum of permanent residence of
the petitioners and substantial progress in the investigation, it is directed that each of th
e petitioners shall be released on bail by the learned S.D.J.M., Angul in G.R. Case No.1196 of
2015 on such terms and conditions as deemed just and proper, including the conditions that
(i) the petitioners shall appear in person before the I.O. once in every fortnight on the date
and time fixed by the said I.O. for the purpose of investigation till submission of Final For
m; and
(ii) they shall not involve themselves in similar or any other offence during currency of this
order.
The BLAPL is accordingly disposed of.
