Excavation is on-going on the hill near Sagar Raunak Residency. Deep trenches are visible, and teak and other trees on the hill are being felled. Several acres of land are being illegally excavated, with gravel being extracted and sold. This is not only harming the environment but also causing revenue loss to the government.

Since the name of the persons violating the rules have not been discussed thus, the copy of the application with the copy of the is sent to the Member Secretary, State Pollution Control Board and the DFO, Sagar (M.P.) to personally or by means of directing the official to visit the site examine the matter and in case of violation take necessary action according to rules.
